Water Taxis generally depart
Puerto Vallarta & return from Yelapa
every few hours starting around 7;30
am until 5- 5:30pm pm every day,
depending on the time of year. We
recommend leaving from the main
pier (
not the marina) which is
located at the north end of the
beach; Playa Los Muertos in the old
part of Puerto Vallarta. Tell the taxi
driver at the airport you want the
water taxi to Yelapa and they will
take you to the pier. The price for
the water taxi is $360 pesos or about
$22 US dollars per person return.

The boat ride is no frills, but your
luggage (within reason) is not a
problem. The scenic trip down the
coast takes about 45 minutes and it
not unusual to see dolphins, whales,
flying fish, or manta rays. We
suggest buying your tickets from the
Yelapa Water Taxi office located by
the pier
or just buy them on the boat.

When you arrive our caretaker
Marisa or other family member for
100 pesos ($7) will greet you at the
village Pier and help carry your
bags for the easy
3 minute walk to
Casa Grace. They will help you get
settled, give you the house keys and
answer any questions you may have
about the casa, stores, restaurants,
directions etc.
